“Provision for Learning Support is of very good quality. Throughout the School, pupils with SEND often achieve strongly.” ISI Inspection 2014
Daiglen School is committed to developing the personal, social and intellectual capabilities of all pupils within our care. We believe that all children should have access to a broad based, balanced and differentiated curriculum which enables them to grow with confidence; to develop their individual potential and to achieve their aspirations.
Based upon these beliefs, lessons are differentiated and children are grouped for particular subjects to suit the needs and abilities of all pupils.
We regularly assess and monitor pupils’ progress and aim to provide early diagnosis of learning difficulties and intervention as appropriate. Specialist teaching support is provided in some subjects and children and parents are involved in preparing and reviewing any interventions.
Our approach is in line with the new 0-25 SEND code of practice and the Children’s and Family Act 2014.
