Educational Visits at Daiglen

In order to further illuminate the curriculum, children in all year groups experience educational excursions throughout the year. International and local residential trips enable children to acquire a sense of independence, resourcefulness and self-confidence, while also being an invaluable bonding experience with their peers.  Local trips link to curriculum areas, enriching pupils’ studies and allowing them to improve their investigative skills and enjoy experiences beyond the classroom setting.  Trips strengthen pupils’ interest and abilities in a range of curriculum areas, and the excitement generated by such excursions is plain to see on our children’s faces as they depart and return to school.  In addition to taking the children out of school to highlight various subjects, visiting experts are regularly invited to the school to talk, bring artefacts and deliver workshops, helping the children to further their skills and understanding of a range of topics.
